CAMPIONTEX was born from the entrepreneurial vision of a founding group that, in 1977, began its activity in the field of textile machinery. Thanks to intuition and the ability to innovate, the company has progressively specialized in the production of sample cards and color charts, areas in which it has achieved high standards of excellence.
With over forty years of history, Campiontex has established itself as an essential partner for companies operating in the fields of yarns, fabrics, ribbons, paper, and other materials, thanks to manual skills, attention to detail, and a constant pursuit of innovation. The founders’ daughters have diligently carried on the family tradition, integrating the most modern techniques and manufacturing skills. Supporting them are long-time collaborators who, with their artisanal mastery, have helped maintain the company’s high-quality standards.
Subsequently, there was a significant change in the company’s ownership: one of the long-time collaborators, together with her brother, took over Campiontex, bringing new ideas and projects. Today, under the leadership of Anna and Piero Zattera, Campiontex continues to be the trusted partner for many prominent companies, expanding its development model to related sectors such as ribbon manufacturing, furniture, footwear, and other related fields.
This transition of ownership to the Zattera family has allowed Campiontex to renew itself while remaining true to its roots, ensuring continuity in quality and innovation, and reaffirming its position as a reference point in the industry for over 40 years.
The creation of the first textile samples dates back to 1628 (State Archive of Milan, Government Acts, Ancient Trade, cart.145). At first glance, the sample book of a fabric manufacturer presents itself roughly like a large book, filled with fabric scraps and written notes on paper that testify to the offerings of a company to its potential customers. Over the years, a close connection between technique, sociological perception of tastes, and creative research has clearly emerged. Thus, the historical process of development and use of samples becomes evident, whose function does not seem to have changed, but rather the support and operational methodologies.
CAMPIONTEX has been highlighting and enhancing the “know-how” of fabric and color folders since 1977, respecting the manufacturing tradition of Vicenza while combining it with the modern requirements of the textile sector.
